Technical Specialist
Description
This facility runs a twenty-four (24) hour operation with rotating shifts.
• Technical understanding of and practical experience with distribution, production and components associated with: Steam, condensate, chilled water, electrical motors, paralleling switch gear, motor control centers, condenser systems, variable frequency drives, reciprocating engines, generators, compressed air and compressors, pumps, refrigeration systems, air handlers, boilers, cooling towers, pneumatic and low voltage control systems, stationary engineering,EMS systems. Computer skills;
• Assist in maintenance, repair and trouble shooting of equipment, following established performance expectations and evaluations, and performance issue resolution. Maintain efficiency benchmarks and tracking for long-term performance evaluation and adherence to baseline requirements.
•Follow safety program for all energy center activities: Safety training; tagging and labeling; MSDS administration; injury reporting; follows proper safety procedure for all maintenance activities; uses proper PPE; safety equipment inventory and maintenance.
• Field trouble calls from customers communicate problems and recommended course of action.
Requirements
• Preferred Associate degree (AA or AS) or Technical degree and 6-8 years related experience.
•
*Compensation will be based on experience.
