This facility runs a twenty-four (24) hour operation with rotating shifts.

• Technical understanding of and practical experience with distribution, production and components associated with: Steam, condensate, chilled water, electrical motors, paralleling switch gear, motor control centers, condenser systems, variable frequency drives, reciprocating engines, generators, compressed air and compressors, pumps, refrigeration systems, air handlers, boilers, cooling towers, pneumatic and low voltage control systems, stationary engineering,EMS systems. Computer skills; EMS systems>.

• Assist in maintenance, repair and trouble shooting of equipment, following established performance expectations and evaluations, and performance issue resolution. Maintain efficiency benchmarks and tracking for long-term performance evaluation and adherence to baseline requirements.

•Follow safety program for all energy center activities: Safety training; tagging and labeling; MSDS administration; injury reporting; follows proper safety procedure for all maintenance activities; uses proper PPE; safety equipment inventory and maintenance.

• Field trouble calls from customers communicate problems and recommended course of action.

Requirements
• Preferred Associate degree (AA or AS) or Technical degree and 6-8 years related experience.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED & 5 year’s related experience.

*Compensation will be based on experience.

Software development engineer

This position is under the direct supervision of the Application Development Manager and a Lead Developer, the Senior Developer will be assigned to key development projects and initiatives of the company. The Senior Developer will demonstrate technical expertise on the .Net Microsoft development platform and will develop to project requirements and design specification for new and existing systems. The Senior Developer will participate in architectural design and will develop application software for subsidiary websites.

• Develop web- and service-based application software using Microsoft .Net development platform.
• Participate in the requirements-gathering a clarification process with business stakeholders.
• Construct application code that is component-based and follows sound object-oriented development strategies.
• Construct automated unit tests and practice test-driven development for assigned projects and tasks.
• Adhere to prescribed source control and configuration management policy.
• Follow specified standards, best practices, coding styles and other development guidelines.
• Prepare for and participate in quality assurance activities within software development (unit testing, acceptance testing and code/design reviews).
• Will promote a sense for excellence as a champion for continuous refining and improving of the code, with the mindset of making the area of the application better than it was before the developer began working on it.
• Foster constant, open communication channels with business stakeholders and other IT personnel to facilitate the flow of information, requirements, changes, and status updates.
• Work with quality assurance team to ensure that deliverables meet required system functionality.

• Minimum 5 years software development experience with Microsoft web-based application development technology.
• Must have mastered knowledge with at least 3 years of experience in the following: VB.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, .Net 1.0+.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Helpful experiences include: Development with AJAX, SOA/ESB, .NET 3.0, WCS, WFW and familiarity with agile development processes.

• Well rounded development experience with the Microsoft .Net development platform.
• Solid understanding of Web technologies (HTML, CSS, DHTML, AJAX, XML, XSL, etc.)
• Efficient SQL programming skills with MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
• Demonstrated experience with object-oriented development principles and best practices.
• Productive accuracy and thoroughness in the implementation of project specifications and design requirements.

Summary / Objective:
-- Senior level position with extensive knowledge and experience in Oracle, SQL Server,Oracle Application Server 10gand O/S.
-- Demonstrate ability to assist others in completing work, handle assignments across varying areas of expertise and is usually called upon to perform in multiple roles

Time Spent on Primary Activities:
-- Running day to day operations 60% is devoted to internal or external client requests or problem tickets, 30% to administrative duties (Backups, alert log checks, regular and internal documentation), 10% daily time management documentation.
-- Proactive monitoring and maintenance of databases
-- Installation and Configuration of Database Software's, Patch Management

Responsibilities:
-- Install and support database servers, clients and application development programs
-- Day to day database maintenance tasks ( Monitoring, Backups, space Management, resource utilization, etc )
-- Responsible for performing object migration between database instances, (e.g., development, testing, production)
-- Testing of new releases and features for application, O/S and Database upgrade
-- Troubleshoot application level performance and Optimize database/ application performance
-- Manages problems, issues, service tickets and change management requests
-- Create and manage tables, indexes, constraints, stored procedures, etc
-- Performance and application tuning using Stats Pack, SQL profiler, SqlLab , etc.
-- Use RMAN/EBU to do backup and recovery.
-- Work closely with infrastructure staff to assist with successful installation, upgrades, and patches
-- Interaction with client-side developers and QA is required
-- Provide on-call support during non-business hours
-- Establish and implement policies and procedures pertaining to data base security, maintenance, and use
-- Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements
-- Upgrade database versions, apply patches and validate/ test applications.
-- Take part in JAD sessions, provide technical feedback.
-- Individually troubleshoot application level performance and Optimize database/ application performance

Educational Requirements:
-- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/Certifications within area related to job function.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:
-- 5 years or more experience in relational databases using Oracle, SQL Server, Application servers. Work exposure in Oracle ERP applications ( Oracle 11i ) a plus
-- Installation, Upgrade, support and Monitor Oracle (9i & 10g ), SQL Server(2000 & 2005 ) databases and Oracle application Servers ( OAS/ 10iAS )
